Re: bleeding profusely and passing lots of clots after mirena expulsion

I was spotting the day I got mine removed. Two days later I thought I was bleeding to death and too stupid to know it! I went through an overnight pad every 45 minutes to an hour for about two or three days. I didn't have insurance so I didn't go to the doctor. I watched myself for signs of shock. I drank A LOT of water, made sure I didn't look pale, I had no abdominal pain, and checked my pulse. I also think I bled eleven days in all just not as heavy. I seriously did not know how my body could bleed that heavily and have any blood left! I would have gone to the doctor if I had any pain. It was worse bleeding than when I had a miscarriage before mirena.
