Re: Black Salve used on jawbone infections?
Alkalizing your system is good for general purposes. My only child developed a horrendous infection after her first and only
vaccination at the age of 5--a flesh eating strept and antibiotic-resistant staph infection combined that was so virulent that her father and I became infected also, in ever scratch, bite, handnail, etc. It was heading into necrotising fasciitis, which is too horrible to even think about. We were told that if we didn't submit to
Antibiotic treatment that we could all die, while our naturopath told us to avoid
Antibiotics as if our lives depended on it, which we did. Instead, we went on an alkaline-forming diet and used hydrotherapy (a timed application of alternating hot and cold packs) to aid the healing process and recovered.
I have an old book somewhere--Acid & Alkaline, but a Japanese scientist. In it he mentions seeing studies on bacteria where alkalizing reduced the infection, but only buy use of magnesium and sodium, I think it was, not by potassium and calcium.
Sodium bicarbinate is being used in the treatment of cancer, but I think that is mostly by injection or IV. If you take it by mouth, it reduces HCL in the stomach, and that's the last thing a person wants, although I've read that cooking it with maple syrup and taking it by mouth that way is a powerful healer, because cancer loves
Sugar and it's taken into the cells rapidly that way where the sodium bicarb then kills cancer cells more quickly, or at least causes them to "morph" back into normal cells.
On the other hand, we have a jar of homemade black salve and use it for many things, but you always risk scarring around the face. I did recently dilute it and swab some on a cat with a chronic eye infection who is a lot better, but if you can treat an infection by altering the internal terrain, that is always the best starting place.
