Can cell phones pop popcorn?

V, I recieved a video as a .xls file and I can't get it to post. It shows 4 students setting their cell phones on a table pointing at each other in a cross pattern. They set kernels in the center and call the cells and the corn pops. Is this possible? I guess I will have to get together with some friends and try it. Maybe this will convince them to stop using them so much.

Update! I went back and reviewed the video and it looked fake. Looked online and everyone says it can't happen. So I guess I found the answer. I still don't think they are safe. Tweet
