alternative medicine education

My 22 year old daughter is trying to decide how to educate herself to get started in a career. What she would like to do is to promote and practise alternative medicine and preventative health.

So far she has been told that she needs to go to chiropractor school after she has attended the local university. She is willing to do this but I'm wondering if it is the best route for her when she is basically interested helping to promote overall healthy living.

We own a coffee shop and she is always helping the staff of college age kids with their health issues {they usually don't have the money to see doctors}.

does anyone have any suggestions.
