Featherbutts, I recommend you give the Armour a fair chance first, without muddying the waters by taking other stuff. You might have borderline thyroid dysfunction, in which case you might not have much in the way of symptoms. I didn't have symptoms for a lot of years either, but looking back, I think I probably had borderline thyroid function most of my life.
If you were diagnosed, then the likelihood is that your thyroid will go further and further out of whack until you have all kinds of symptoms that will make your life miserable. High blood pressure, high cholesterol, and irreversible heart disease are some of the nastier things hypothyroidism can cause if left untreated. Do yourself a huge favor and forget about over-the-counter or internet products. Take the Armour as prescribed and save yourself a lot of health problems. Your hair will grow back in.
