Re: What are the alternatives to a root canal?

Hi Celia,

Are you going to a Bio dentist??? I would not do it until I got a second opion.

Also, read "It's all in your head" by Hal Huggins.

My doctor (he's an allergist who is hip to liver cleanses, whole body approach and mercury toxicity) says he's seen people get better after cleaning up their root canals (versus having them pulled). I have four, and am going to have them cleaned and see if I notice a difference. This is not the Huggins protocol, but my allergist has seen a lot of mercury toxicity cases.

Also, it is very important to use non-metal crowns if you're going to have a crown put on. I thought I was going to a dentist who was pretty cool because he replaced two of my amalgam, and hasn't used Amalgam for six years. BUT he sealed my root canals with Amalgam (at the same time that he replaced two Amalgam fillings!!!) and put crowns that contain metal. I wish I had found this website BEFORE I had all that done!

I don't know where you are located, but you can search for a dentist who uses lasers to clean the canal. I'd like to give you phone numbers so you can call for references, but I don't want to post them here. I also don't want to post my email address.

I hope this helps you.

KarenMarie
