Re: Heal Thyself
...whew....glad to know I am NOT addicted
to the internet. I had sometimes worried
but nothing on that list applies to me.
I see it as a tool to keep in touch with
friends and family and to save gas as I
am buying more and more things online
instead of burning tanks of gas to get
to town. Not to mention that things like
a parabolic solar cooker cannot be found
anywhere in the USA so I had to buy one
from France. I like keeping in contact
with my friends from over the World too.
My friend in Bali keeps an "ear" to the
rail there and I chat it up with her about
politics here which over there some but
most would not be as interested in. My
friends back at home keep up such that
when we meet its as if we just had not
seen each other in a while and yet we've
kept up with each others' lives. I am
addicted to info perhaps and so a good
story or compendium of knowledge is
like eye candy and I can spend an hour
reading or cyber-ly sifting through a
virtual museum and be more content than
watching television.
I also know I am still okay as long as
I prefer a good hike to being buckled
into my desk chair...ggg
I do feel for those who lose their balance
and fall off the deep end~~!
Thanks for sharing~!
blessings,
Zoe
