Re: hypoglycemial reactions to bowel cleansing...help!

A salt water flush is not a Colon Cleanse in the true sense. The higher concentration of salt in the digestive system causes water to be pulled into the bowel in order to dilute it and the contents of the bowel are evacuated. The salt water flushes only clear out the newer fecal material...they don't eliminate mucoid plaque. And the increased water to the bowel means less water for your body which can lead to dehydration...as well as loss of electrolytes...if done too frequently. This may be why you're having headaches.

You might want to try a Colon Cleanse using psyllium and bentonite...read through some of the posts here for info and directions.
