Re: Terrible side effects that were never explained, is mirena still worth it?

In my opinion I would not wish mirena on my worst enemy! I got to the point I was suicidal daily, a raving bitch, and hated life! Mirena almost cost me my marriage, my children, and my life. And all my first doctor told me was it was not possible mirena to cause my problems and handed me a prescriiption for an anti depressant. It is not worth it!!! However my second doctor said she would remove mine. She refuses to offer mirena to her patients because of side effects. Please listen to your body. I know my body was at war with itself and I listened to my doctor instead. Now I am paying the consequences, and they sting.
