There has always been something about this kind of commentary about George's commentary, something that stands out to me because of how prevalent this kind of thinking seems to be. Maybe it's just me but it is difficult to not notice how this kind of commentary seems to be attempting to portray increasingly dark material ..... "as though it is a bad thing", as the saying goes. One only needs to consider the primary source of George's material; his observations of the world. Then it quickly becomes apparent why it is so easy to find people willing to contribute - with only a trace of irony, to the effort of not noticing the increasingly dark material this world has been serving up in later years.
