Re: What bowel cleanse gives you ropes?

The 'ropes' which are being referred to are mucoid plaque that has accumulated in the intestines. (Look for my Info on Mucoid Plaque post in the Bowel Cleanse Archive forum for a description.) Some Colon Cleanses will result in the release of this toxic material; others do not. One of the most effective cleanses for releasing mucoid plaque is psyllium and bentonite. The Bentonite absorbs and loosens toxins and the psyllium acts as a broom to sweep it through the intestines. Yerba Prima (Great Plaines Detox) and Sonne's (#7 Detoxificant) are two brands of liquid bentonite, and each company also has psyllium, too. Arise and Shine also has a Colon Cleanse using these ingredients, as well as additional herbs...although some are laxative herbs. I have also used Holistic Horizons Colon Cleanse which does not use Bentonite (only psyllium and various herbs...none of which are laxatives) and had great success passing lots of mucoid plaque.
