Questions re: Maca Root?

Hey Doc,
After reading the questions/answers re: maca root I'm very interested in giving this a try. I had a complete hysterectomy, including ovaries about 12 years ago. Wouldn't of happened if I knew what I know now:( I have been on HRT, the compound formula's for all this time. I use an estrogen cream, testosterone gel and a capsule of progesterone. I know these are not healthy and they are very expensive. I'm afraid to just stop and not do anything for my lack of hormones.I would go into menopause very quickly. I have done 31 LF's and I'm using MH's dewormer and LBB. I have had HUGE success in healing and now want to get off of these HRT's. Would the maca root help balance out my hormone levels if I don't have ovaries? Do you have any recommendations on where to purchase the maca root? Thanks for any info you might have. Gayle
p.s. I just found the site you recommend for buying the maca powder. I'm confused because they say it balances the progesterone and testosterone but blocks the estrogen. Can you explain? thanks again!! Tweet
