Small town hospital where the operation was done--emergency situation--the appendix burst during the operation...
The chief of staff--old Dr that should have retired long ago--REFUSES to give antibiotic for anything, and tells his staff at the clinic to not give antibiotics--which is fine to a point, but there's a time when they really are needed.
He did NOT give this guy antibiotics after the appendix burst. Sewed him up and sent him home. That's when he became full of infection--and got life flighted out of here. The same Dr. wanted to "treat" him..and THEN started him on antibiotics just before care flight came and picked him up. He would have died had he stayed here for any further "treatment". He's home now, but they opened him up twice to try to get things cleaned up, and he has a "vacuum" thing in him trying to suck out infection--and highly potent antibiotics.
