This is a favorite song of mine
because I know I am not alone
in going outside to look up
at the stars to pray.
I just listened to a 4 year old named
Kaitlin sing this song on television.
She was awesome and it made me
feel gleeful that this child made the
lyrics of this song, come alive.
It was a blessing to hear her voice.
Somewhere Out There
Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight
Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that big somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

When you look up and contemplate the
majesty of creation, know you are not alone.
All over the planet, standing under the night
sky, humans gather to pray and wonder of life.
