For few, it is a tool.

Tools can work wonders in the hands of a skilled professional, in the hands of the unknowledgeable and inexperienced, they're useless. However, a good set of snap-ons is useful as a medium of exchange, although they're good for far more than that in the right hands. So too is it with the printing press.
