Strange UTI but it's gone now.
I started a serious relationship over 1 year ago. The 1’st problem I noticed was an excruciation UTI. It was so bad I couldn’t get out of the bath, my best friend brought my Rx to me. Seeing me sobbing in the tub I could tell what she was thinking “That man needs to get tested”. The antibiotic and pyridium helped but not nearly as much as they should of. I started taking 2 different brands to get enough pain relief to do my job. What I later learned was that using pyridium, cystex, and cranberry pills would get me through the infections that would slam into me without warning. The worst part was that the UTI tests came out negative.
Since I was spending a lot of time soaking in the tub I started noticing there was a correlation between the pain and long, milky, strands of stuff being pushed out of my urethra. My medical friends rolled their eyes at this idea. I continued to feel like it was the correct idea; it isn’t too farfetched to think that yeast can be pushed up the urethra just like bacteria can. If so the pyridium and cystex would keep us from spasming when it comes out, and this would mean less build up and less pain.
Any way once sex ended so did the UTI’s. I ‘m still fighting with a severe chronic yeast infection that I’m using garlic to get rid of. It seems to be working an if it does I doubt I’ll ever have to deal with that type of UTI again.
Good luck to all of ya’ll. I know there are lots of different causes for them but I hope what I wrote will help someone.
