What does edema feel like to you?

Hi. My grandfather is suffering from a binding sensation in his ankles. It's always there, but sometimes gets worse. Recently it's getting worse, and it's irritating, and frustrating cause it's a constant binding sensation. he does have some pedal edema, swelling in the feet, calves and thighs too. Not completely sure if it's related. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar sensation. and if you had a solution thanks! Tweet
