Yah, the drama and the irony. As far as just the climbing aspect goes, ya know, the thrill of reaching the mountain top and all of that, has generally become widely accepted as a good way to kill time if not one's self. On an average day, a person going to the lengths they did in an effort to trick people into joining them in fear of GW is on par with a person having set out to reach a high peak just so they can then invite others to join them in jumping off with a parachute known to be full of holes. This person effectively accomplished all of this with one fell swoop.
