I have been accused by some people of creating fear and powerlessness by my website. I believe that fear is a basic and instinctive survival technique. You all have a choice. You can feel powerless, or you can get involved and do something about it. You can blindly take the word of the manufacturers or you can question the validity of their information. I had nothing to gain or lose when I decided to make this website. The manufacturers on the other hand have much to lose. Especially if it is proven that they have known about these dangers all along. To sum it up: asbestos in tampons is a hoax. Dioxin in tampons is not.
