Hmm I've been at a friends house and didnt take any of the things i mentioned that i normally take to avoid constipation, no taurine, no anything. But i didnt have constipation and i think it's because the night before i took a 200 mcg selenium supplement and a 200 IU vitamin E supplement with a meal.
Vitamin E and selenium help get rid of oxidative stress in the body, and oxidative stress can cause constipation. that's my theory anyways.
I have found it works, i had no constipation today despite eating poorly today and not taking my usual anti-constipation things.
