Yes, but supplementing without fixing the cause is futile...

If Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) sensitive then that MUST be removed, my Dad after one Chinese meal (~$12) requires ~$3 worth of CoQ10 and Mag. Taurate…

If Gallstones then they MUST be dealt with, however Mag. Taurate does relax the bile duct so that particular supplement can be used all around. If liver flukes they MUST be dealt with, if Dwarf Tapeworm then the thymus is shot and one has to re-evaluate how to tackle that.

EDIT
For those with Lyme adding magnesium without the ability to control co-infections can also be...detrimental...
