Re: great idea!
I did about 10 flushes and probably could have stopped at 7. I had great benefit from these and feel it was absolutely necessary for me, I was able to accomplish a lot at once, but got to a point where they felt too harsh, the last 3 didn't produce any visible stones, and after so much cleansing (bowel, parasite, etc.), I felt, as did my naturopath/homeopath that it was time for more gentle remedies, building and balancing. She gave me some great herbal liver tonics that got me to the next level, but I know I'm still not where i need to be because I get a "gallbladder headache" with every menstrual cycle and do tend to get kind of a bile backup, which my husband (a bodyworker) knows how to release with manual manipulation and that does help. Currently I'm on a grain-free diet, kind of a cheater's version of SCD, which has helped a lot with bloating and gas and has reduced what I think are symptoms from bowel imbalance. The question is why does the liver/gallbladder congestion still happen (though it's a lot better), and for me I wonder if it's tied in to my job that keeps me sitting at a computer long hours, and I am always on and off the wagon with getting regular exercise. An accupuncturist once told me "the liver likes movement," and I know she's right. Stretching, deep breathing, balanced physical activity gives those organs a nice massage...
I'm very interested in this forum, though, and will be following it periodically to see what is recommended.
