Whenever I took EM (self-made EMa, EM-1 or Fervita blueberries) it worsened my sleep quality a lot. Since I already have a heavy chronic insomnia problem I only use it when really needed (like after a Liver Flush to get regular again). I tried many other probiotics (Garden of Life's Primal Defense, Natren's Trinity, D'Adamo's Polyflora for blood type O) but all worsen my sleep issues which is really puzzling me. I really believe that EM is very economical and a fantastic health product but after trying it many times, sometimes for several weeks and different doses the increased sleep issues always remained.
Any suggestions/ideas would be highly welcome! I'd love to use it as my bowel movements have never been as good as with a high probiotic intake.
