PCT and HCV

Ok, fellow heppers, now how many have porphyria related to your HCV?
I could find no talk of it in the forums, but it is common among HepC sufferers.

Quote "PCT is one of the hepatic porphyrias. Large amounts of porphyrins build up in the liver when the disease is becoming active. The disease becomes active when acquired factors, such as iron, alcohol, hepatitis C virus (HCV)"

And HCV can't be treated until the PCT is taken care of first.
"Peginterferon success rate of treating HCV is at 4.5% for people with PCT and HCV"

Well I checked the Porphyria forum, started 28 months ago, but no posts in it. It looks like I'll have to give it a jump start.

They figure if it wasn't for PCT, there would be no vampire legend, and you would all be drinking tea . lol

Symptoms: Clear blisters on face and hands exposed to sunlight, easily bruised skin, slow healing skin trauma, pissing heavy, colored sometimes purple.
