I do not think that the information you have reported on Vitamin B6 is reliable or accurate!

Dr. John E., M.D. wrote the book on vitamin B6 -- literally. 'Vitamin B6: The Doctor's Report' by Dr. Ellis is the classic book on the subject of this nutrient. Ellis took 200 milligrams of vitamin B6 daily from 1961 until his recent death at nearly 90 years of age.

AND Vitamin B6 is definitely a GENUINELY classified Vitamin.........
"Vitamin B6 is a term used to refer to a group of naturally occurring pyridine derivatives represented by pyridoxine (pyridoxol), pyridoxal and pyridoxamine. Even though this vitamin exists in three forms, the term pyridoxine is currently used to cover the whole vitamin B6 group. Once digested, pyridoxine is converted rapidly to pyridoxal phosphate which acts as a co-enzyme in a whole host of biochemical reactions (1,2)."

The benefits of B6 far outweigh any non-benefits, mentally or physical, and has definitely been categorized as a vitamin by nutritional authorities.
What we are referring to here is "overdosing" on B6 which (like any other vitamin) can have adverse health-consequences.
