Why you have EC and what you have to do to stop it.
Let me specify this.
However you FIRST got EC, removing that is only PREVENTION from you getting a lip problem again. The growing skin is NOTHING to do with diet, allergy, virus etc. The growing skin is A RESULT OF ANTI-INFLAMMATORY hormones or medication. If you don't know what caused you EC, well then you better find out because it may come back.
Inflammation is healing. Inflammation comes along with the attributes, pain, blood, swelling, redness, to heal the condition. We simply think all these things are BAD, when its the bodies repair process. Healing is meant to be ONE TIME thing.
Now i have mentioned cortisol many times before. This is my last time explaining why we have EC. Inflammation is healing, therefore anything Anti-inflammation is opposed to that. Cortisol is anti-inflammatory, along with various medications. These are meant to assists the area of the wound to return to normal but ONLY ONCE. These things mask the attributes of pain, redness, swelling etc to make it more manageable and presentable. The synthetic form of Cortisol produced in our bodies are creams like hydrocortisone etc. ITS LOCAL btw.
IF THE AREA DOES NOT HEAL.. the inflammation tries to heal it and again cortisol comes to regulate that inflammation. IF THE AREA DOES NOT HEAL.... etc the inflammation becomes chronic(silent) and the cortisol becomes chronic, As these attributes of healing are now SUPPRESSED.
Why the skin grows?
A combination of chronic inflammation, cortisol and everything that comes along with it.
Here is an article about cortisone injections..

ALL THREE ARTICLES EXPLAIN THE REASONS OF EXCESSIVE SCAR TISSUE, I HAVE MANY MORE LINKS..
What we have to do to stop EC?
-We have to enable the Acute Inflammation process for healing...
-We have to stop chronic inflammation in our bodies..
-Keep Cortisol Levels LOW.. IT IS LOCAL for all and more for some.
-Use the strongest anti-oxidants for oxidative stress
-A moisturizing cream, that promotes healing
All of these can be accomplished. If we fail on an attempt, we simply go back in the cycle. By failing i mean, forcefully removing the scar tissue. We will need a good moisturizing cream, that will allow us to peel off the skin(excess scar tissue) only when its ready. We cannot forcefully peel off the skin, it is a natural part of the repair process. If we rip the skin to RAW... we start again.
What you need to stop EC?
- stimulate the healing process(enable acute inflammation?) - stop cortisol?, Vitamins?
- stop chronic inflammation - HIGH DOSE FISH OILS... Turmeric(natural), Protopic, Elidel, Phytosterols(natural)
- Stop Cortisol - Melatonin, Pregnenolone, L-Lysine, Phytosterols(natural)
- Strongest Antioxidants -
http://www.usaweekend.com/02_issues/021110/021110eatsmart.html
- A moisturizing cream - Glycerine(natural)
This is a difficult condition to heal. If you mess up during the healing process, you simply re-enter the cycle with a reaction like more growing skin or worse etc.
I may be taking the natural approach for more options, safely. There's many ways to stimulate the healing process. This may help..

I might make my own cream with the natural herbs. Take High(HIGH) dose fish oils to stop chronic inflammation, along with herbs(INTERNAL). Stop Cortisol(easy) and I'll use glycerine probably in my cream.
Its all about finding the right combination of things to use and not being stupid enough to worsen your progress. Timing is involved.
If your lips ever swell up, pain, redness.. it is trying to heal itself, don't be foolish and say it's worse. It may look bad but it's trying to repair something, be grateful. It's a possibility Vitamin A might do this, i remember me having these attributes while using liquid Vit A. When that happened the skin was very difficult to peel, didn't overgrow that much and it was swollen/painful/very red, obviously at the time i was the one saying it's worse but now i understand.
EC could simply heal itself without these attributes but thats something we have to find out.
I'm prepared for it either way.
There may be a miracle cream out there, believe me i'm looking.
Peace.
