inflammation is the first step that the body takes in repairing a wound. this is definitly a type of wound although different than a wound on a nother part of the body just by the fact that the skin is more delicate. so using somthing anti inflammatory will only work for maybe the first 2 days because that is how long the inflammation lasts, then the next step in healing takes place, the laying down of epithilium cells. research moist wound healing
