Work at home?

Sooo, I just had a baby and we bought a new house. So I have to work, we need the money, we cannot afford for me to be a stay-at-home mom. But, I'm having a really, really tough time going back to work. It's not that I don't want anyone to watch my son; I trust my mom-in-law and grandmother, and my sister, who have all watched him for me. I just don't want to go. (like who does, right?)

I was online checking out some ways to work at home, and there's all these stuff envelopes, take surveys, mystery shop, type things, but you have to pay to join up, which makes no sense to me. Has anyone tried working from home? Does anyone have any advice on something I could do? I wouldn't mind paying to join some of the survey sites if I knew they wouldn't rip me off.
