Iodine is also a powerful oxidant in more situations than when it is an antioxidant. So there's the rub. Best to do as you said, about 4 hours. Problem is that vitamin C should be taken at differing times than Iodine too. It is too difficult to manage C when taking both Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and iodine. Just do one or the other.
