Anyone interested in business
Business is not always a dirty word. Sometimes it is fascinating. Man has made this set of rules, incorporates them into his existence, and then screw it up so badly.
But if you look at corporations as a single entity, as a living breathing organism, or a mathematical equation, then I've got a book for you.
The book is called "Corporate Lifecycles: How and Why Corporations Grow and Die and What to Do About It" by Ichak Adizes.
This book is written similarly to that 1970's book "Passages", if anyone remembers that. Adizes breaks down each corporate growth cycle and analyzes what commonly works and what does not work. But you can also read this book and relate it to the company you are working for. After reading this, you may look at your employers in a very different way and you may pay more attention to company-wide memos. This is a very easy, and enjoyable read, but you have to be interested in the subject matter.
