Immune System: Just found this- good repost!
Rabbitears,
I have been searching the forum for information on the Glands, and Immune System. Even if others have read this before, I wanted to thank you for posting what I just printed out for the information on what to look for in Medical Blood tests.
Medical blood tests are something the Alt. Med Dr. has wanted done with me, first when I started with him, and again last week to see if there have been any changes since the last one was done (which was 9 months ago). I did have things that showed up abnormally on the blood tests then, and am curious to see if, or what differences there may be now.
He said the same thing that this ND said: "blood results are not really abnormal until the body is 70% sick" (which is when MD's will "treat" the symptoms, but not the core cause).
Over the past 12 years, I have had 4-5 blood tests, checking for thyroid, and nothing has showed out of the norm on the blood tests. The first visit to the Alt. Med Dr. I asked him to Muscle Test me for Thyroid, and it showed extremely weak right off the bat. He told me that he can catch it at the cellular level, before it has turned into a full-fledged problem that does show up on the blood tests. (Along with the other glands too) I'm also going to be doing the saliva test this week for the adrenals/hormones.
I know others here have had the Kinesiology (muscle testing) which is what my Dr. uses for testing. This is just my opinion, but I do think there can be differences in success/outcome in any of the Alternative modalities, based on how competent the practitioner is. Newport had mentioned that when I had asked him recently about finding a Scio practioner.
I found good information you had also posted on the Immune System! All the research you share here, may not always be read right at the time it was posted...but there's a wealth of good information in reading old posts here! Thank you!
