In my job, it's the mean people that got ahead. Anyone who treats anyone with one iota of respect never makes it.

Why are mean people so successful? Why are the people that have no respect for human resources become heads of the departments? Don't corporations see how truly manic these people are?

I think corporations have blinders on. Even the one I worked for claimed they supported work/life balance. I thank that was a load of bull.
