Okay. I suppose you could compare a chicken pox party to a genital herpes party -- if you're going to have everyone rubbing genitals.
Back in the day, we got our kids together and just let them get it over with. There were no fears, and all turned out great. Now, it's hard to find someone with the virus. In my opinion, it is more dangerous. Now, our children are at risk of getting shingles as elders because they never the contracted the virus as a child, which is why it's called a "childhood desease."
Hope everything turned out great with the rash issue. I, personally, use CS with all my children for multiple reasons, including pink eye. Obviously, if there were any concern of an adverse reaction, we would stop use immedeately, although it sounds like your child's pink eye may have been one of a few maladys your child had been suffering at the time of your post. Nice to see you're not one to rush your child to the doctor.
