Re: I've been researching comfrey and a few websites are saying Comfrey causes liver damage.

First cutting of comfrey in the Spring is VERY POWERFUL! Yet harmless to the person that does not do drugs and harms their liver. NO ONE uses fresh/raw comfrey and once dried/powdered, it is harmless regardless when it was cut, except to those who have poisoned their liver via the MD drugs!

Pregnant women, babies can consume comfrey and do wonderful, proving it is a harmless plant loaded with natural plant calcium, yet those drug addicts should leave it alone, because all drugs addicts have damaged their livers and you need a liver to process comfrey.

Animals eat the raw comfrey, humans consume it in a dry powder usually. The raw spring cut would make the most powerful boneknit external tincture.

RIGHT NOW the comfrey is growing well.

I suggest anyone interested in comfrey, to read the Dr. John R. Christopher school of natural healing book and ignore all other books/websites when it comes to true herb use. Many people spread rumors, usually college educated people too lazy to self-experiment and ONLY spread their teacher's rumors that originate from government sources protecting medical interest.

Just my opinions of course. When in fear/doubt, don't take it!
