I will venture to say that EFT works all the time.  The question is, depending on the person, for how long.  That is why it is so important to faithfully do your tapping at least twice a day and the minute one feels any type of discomfort.  For example:  Fear, insecurity, pain, etc.  Whatever the problem, the minute you notice it surfacing, start tapping.  Then notice the letting go, notice the relief you feel.
