Re: Topknot tea formula question

Hello MH,

After searching through the website I am still not 100% clear about the topknot formula. First I ordered the herbs versus your pre-made formula because I thought you mentioned it would be stronger?

Is that accurate?
YES, BECAUSE YOU DRINK IT AND WASH THE HAIR WITH THE TEA, WHILE THE TOPKNOT SPRAY IS ONLY APPLIED TO THE TEMPLES ONCE OR TWICE PER WEEK AS NEEDED.

It seems you have had success with the other preparation you made so why do you recommend the herbs versus your formula?
HERBAL TEA IS THE ORIGINAL METHOD OF DR. CHRISTOPHER, MY TOPKNOT FORMULA IS BASED ON HIS HERBAL FORMULA PLUS MY OWN TWIST OF HERBS AND ESSENTIAL OILS, ETC.

Can I make a batch big enough for say a week and keep it in the fridge for use versus making it every day? Will the potency wear off too quickly for this practicality?
I SUGGEST JUST USING A LARGE PAN AND LEAVE THE TEA ON SIMMER ALL WEEK AND YOU CAN SHUT THE HEAT OFF AT NIGHT IF DESIRED, ETC.. THE TEA WILL BECOME STRONGER AND STRONGER WITH EACH DAY AND BE FINE FOR THE HAIR AND DRINK A FEW CUPS. NOTE: THIS WOULD BE AN IDEAL TEA BEFORE BEDTIME AS WELL.

Somehow I misplaced the ratio of herbs to water can you please tell me what that would be as well?
THE CHRISTOPHER BOOKS MAY HAVE A RATIO, BUT I ALWAYS SAY PUT PLENTY OF HERBS IN THE TEA POT AND MAKE IT STRONG, I HAVE NO RATIO OTHER THAN THE WATER MUST BE ABOVE THE HERBS. IF YOU NEED A RATIO I MIGHT USE, I CAN GUESS ABOUT 1/5TH HERBS AND 4/5THS WATER.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't keep the tea on my hair all day? It's not practical for me to wet my hair at night. In fact couldn't the herbal tea include some other herbs that create a softness to the hair like a leave in conditioner does for people with thick curly hair that is not brushable without poodle affect?
THE TEA CAN BE LEFT ON ANY AMOUNT OF TIME YOU DESIRE, IT WON'T HARM THE HAIR AT ALL. YOU COULD ADD MANY DIFFERANT HERBS AND EVEN SORGHUM FOR MINERALS AND I WOULD SUGGEST A LITTLE NATURAL TREE IODINE, UNLESS YOUR HAIR IS BLONDE, THEN THE IODINE WOULD DARKEN THE HAIR. THE OLD IODINE INFO SUGGEST BALDNESS CAN BE CURED WIH IODINE, BECAUSE A FUNGUS CAUSED THE LOSS OF HAIR.

Coconut oil on the hair is too heavy any suggestions for another herbal product that would be similar?
DIDN'T KNOW CHRISTOPHER EVER SUGGESTED THAT ONE, I THOUGHT HE SUGGESTED WHEAT GERM OIL, THEN OLIVE OIL AND THEN CASTOR OIL. COCONUT OIL WOULD MAKE QUITE THE MESS AND NEAR IMPOSSIBLE TO WASH OUT.

Mahalo!

GOOD LUCK,
MH
