Re: Akashic records' wealth of therapies

Yes that is true with any information from this kind of medium (no pun intended!); on the subject of intuitives, even Cayce nowadays, many people roll their eyes and the most common reaction is one of extreme cynicism, disbelief and an abruptly dismissive "Oh, Puh-lease. It's a waste of time reading what a *psychic* has to say."

My response to that would be, not so fast. Information from ANY source can be used as a starting point for exploration and eventually it can be either verified and validated, or countradicted and thrown out. For those who dismiss health and therapy information from intuitives as not being a scientific enough approach, really to me it's irrelevant where the information came from (and i can't break this down to a more simple level): if the suggestions work, they work. If they don't, they don't. *That's* pure science. So the question becomes: "Does the Cayce material have merit?" The are countless people who feel the answer is an overwhelming 'yes'. The Douglas Cottrell material expounds on Cayce's, expands on it, adds to and broadens it.

People have asked about concerns like 'what is the reason for climate change?', 'why are bees disappearing (collony collapse disorder)?' etc. These answers are fascinating too and will be proved or disproved over time.

The issue though as you point out, is that much of the spiritual material can't be verified at this point. So for now AFAIAC it's interesting information but to be taken with a grain of salt. One can be interested in this kind of thing and still be a critical thinker and open-minded skeptic.

You said there was a man who consumed Vaseline?! Argh!! Can't imagine that.
