from a little bit of reading i dont think root canals contain mercury but i did read this ;

As for Miracle-Mineral-Supplement and Iodine chelating i have done research and asked alot advice on this and its comes down to Iodine can inevitably kill your good bacteria if taken oraly. and i quote "neither of these chelate Hg, this is a common misconception."
