Re: Why aren't doctors listening to us?

First of all, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with Mirena. I had a rather severe reaction to it myself about 6.5 months ago and I'm still not 100% back to normal. But, I'm a thousand times better than I was when I had the Mirena and for 2 months after removal. My first and worst side effect was severe anxiety. Two different doctors blamed all my side effects on the anxiety, which didn't develop until AFTER I'd gotten the Mirena. They flat out refused to listen to me, even when I tried to show them posts from this site with similar experiences to mine. I just wanted to say that I wish someone could answer your question about why doctors aren't listening to us. To me, that's the "million dollar question" in all of this. It seems to me that we are all part of something very dark and shady and I hope we get the answers we long for soon. Good luck to you in your recovery.
