It's so painful to hear of case after case of body odor sufferers going through significant threats to their employment stability based on bloodborne body odor, which is a medical condition.  Here are a couple of recommendations that you might want to look into that have worked very well for people with physical and mental challenges. 

Once Vocational Rehab determined that you are eligible to participate in the program, not only do they going to put you in contact with employers (government and private employers who work with people with disabilities) who participate in the VR program, but they also assist you (with counseling) in the hiring process.  If necessary, they even provide educational financial assistance to help you with training and education in a different line of work that would conform to your disability needs!  The best part of it is that they have a very long list of career options for you to choose from.  THIS PROGRAM IS GREAT!  I know from first hand experience.

If you should already be on Social Security Disability assistance, you could also participate in the Vocational Rehab program as well as the Ticket to Work Program http://www.yourtickettowork.com/ which works with people with more serious disabilities at their pace. 

This is why it is vital that people who suffer with body odor, especially body odor that interferes with your ability to maintain steady employment, NEED to be tested for TMAU, and/or to be under a doctor’s care if your test shows that you are negative for TMAU.  This way, you may very well qualify for some of these programs to help you remain independent and productive in a comfortable environment; but without medical documentation, the doors to this type of help won’t open up to you.
