Can you have leaky gut and not candida?

Someone said on the leaky gut forum that they did not have candida but just had leaky gut. I have all the symptoms of candida EXCEPT the most obvious like noticeable yeast infections or other infections. I have been diagnosed with severe adrenal fatigue and test positive to a negative reaction for the EBV virus. My Dr. believes I have candida. I have a really hard time following the diet regularly. He had my taking Nystatin and a therodophilus, but I have realized that because I was cheating so much- I think my fatigue was from the constant on and off die-off. But now I am wondering if I just have leaky gut.
