Raw Lips = Open Wound

If the lips are raw, doesn't that classify as an open wound?

I'm not asking how you got EC.. but if your lips have ever been raw.. then that is an open wound.


As you all know, the skin on my lips aren't overgrowing. But it seems the skin that has formed is just sitting there, which makes me conclude it is a kind of scab. I think underneath is regenerating and the non-growing formed skin i see, is just there to protect the healing process. I will try to wait a month.. but this skin is fragile, seeing as i do eat, shower, talk etc, It doesn't go white when wet. My perspective is its a scab. I've seen this in my college. One of the students there ripped the skin off their lips, right infront of me. Next time i saw him the skin grew back and it was crusty. I've seen him again and its back to normal. He obviously didn't aggravate it further because it was in one small area. Now with me it's on the whole of the lip lol. For a wound to heal it needs oxygen and in my scenario TIME. I'm busy for the rest of the day but i'll look into this further l8r on. Peace.
