It is possible though that since you got sick you started to feel like crap, got a bit depressed, etc. Then you convinced yourself that you are somehow jinxed. You now have built up this belief that you get the opposite of what you want. And now life is reflecting that to you.
In short. Smack yourself. Repeat, until you start laughing. Find someone to talk about it with and it will help you snap out of the beliefs into some that feel better :) And then reality will reflect THOSE!
