Re: Can Essiac tea be sweetened?

Absolutely not! Dr. Charles Brusch who developed the 8 herb formula along with Rene Caisse was very much aware of the connection between cancer and sugars. Updated information can be found re: a clinical through Dr. Gold at Syracuse Cancer Institute and his recommendation using Hydrazine Sulfate to block sugars. Are people making it up as they go along on these sites? On what clinical basis?

The latest research with non-toxic treatment for cancer is geared towards anti-angiogenis inhibitors to block blood flow to tumors. This treatment blocks sugars.

I would appreciate it [on behalf of all cancer patients] that individuals would back up an opinion with clinical references. That way, cancer patients would not be jeapordized. There is much clinical evidence to support low-glycemic diets with both cancer and motor neuron disease; i.e., the Ketogenic Diet.
