Can TMJ cause nasal problems? Desperate for help!

For years, I have had tenderness/pain at top of my nose & toward bottom on each side of face, pain shooting from nose across top of cheek and toward bottom, pain in right temple, congestion, air usually partially blocked in nose (both sides), sometimes gets completely blocked on one side, worst when first waking up, visible blood seen after blowing nose, tingling sensations in face & running into back of head, sometimes occuring with spasms in cheeks, & short gasps for air through
nose while awake. Frequent recurrence of severe pain, unbearable, Not Kidding, have taken 4-5 Ambien's at a time just so I'd pass out and not have to feel it anymore!!

Reasons it seems nasal related:

Would wake up during the night with nose completely blocked from air (both sides) while wearing a cpap. Forced air worsened pain. Had to quit wearing cpap. Tube put down nose at hospital for evaluation of upper GI bleed. Put my nose in the worst pain I could ever imagine. Usual response to nitrogen gas causes my body to get numb all over, makes me feel really out of it, have even fallen alseep. Last time it was used, it did not phase me because one side of my nose got blocked up while breathing through mask, and it failed to work, also caused nasal pain to flare up.
Had relief from pain using Flonase & Antibiotic bacterial ointment daily in nose, pain sometimes responded to Antibiotics , had immediate relief at times from using warm salt water. Affected by temperature, worsens during winter or when it's really hot. Worsened from using humidifier on cpap, was causing the pain every day until I figured out that's what was wrong. Pain started occurring after an upper respiratory infection I never quite got over. I also had to start blowing my nose every day, several times a day, because of the congestion/blocked air/
dryness. Still continue to do so.

Reasons it now seems TMJ related:

A few months ago, developed pain/tenderness at the bottom of cheeks at the side
toward the ears, later developing tenderness/pain below ears around the bony area on face on each side. Had some numbness in cheeks but can't remember if it was just on one side or both sides, not occuring lately. Hurts it a little to open mouth. Comes along with headaches(forehead/temples) and neck pain. Doesn't hurt to chew. Don't hear clicking or popping when eating, just if opening mouth wide. No problem whatsover with limited opening of my mouth or my bite. Recently, the pain/tenderness in nose started occuring with this, but not as severe. Feels
like the nasal pain is shooting up from cheeks sometimes feeling like a spasm from bottom of cheeks through nose, has been occuring with tingling sensations in upper back/neck/back of head. Pain relieved by taking motrin for 3 weeks, then failed to really help.

Had past clinical diagnosis of TMJ several years ago, but it was medication inflicted. Caused limited opening of mouth and muscle pain in face, medications & bite guard was not really helpful. Cleared up after discontinuing the medicine. This pain I'm having now is not the same. At that time, did not have nasal problems. And my jaws have never hurt before.

Diagnosis: bilateral turbinate hypertrophy, peridoxically curved middle turbinate, nasal passages get blocked from this, post-nasal drip, UARS (oxygen drops in sleep/trouble breathing), TMJ (clinical diagnosis)

First ENT doctor I went to said my nasal problems would not cause facial pain and said that I was probley suffering from TMJ. Second one acted like there wasn't anything wrong and sent me to a neurologist for evaluation of low grade migranes. Finding it totally ridiculous, I went anyways. She said I didn't have the typical symptoms of migranes/headaches and thought it was being caused by my nasal passages.

Now I don't know what to think!

Am thinking I may have TMJ due to the joint pain but question it because there is no limited opening of my mouth, and no bite problems.

And of course I am in serious question if TMJ could be causing the nasal problems, but yet I am feeling all this pain together.

Does this sound like TMJ?
