Re: Roundworm/TCM
You've stirred up alot of interest in me now for the Chinese Medicine, thanks for posting the information. I don't know if there's many others on the forum that have used it, but I'd sure like to hear more-thanks so much Linenup, this really is a different, and interesting area I haven't looked into before.
I thought this was an interesting paragraph in the post I just posted about herbs that are effective for roundworm (garlic mentioned again). I looked up prunus mume, thanks for that lead. There's alot of interesting information for TCM and parasites. I found another one for liver/gall stones and
Ascaris in the biliary called Lidan Paishi from

I'm definetly going to talk to the Alt. Med Dr. (Chinese Med) about the Chinese herbs in conjunction with the acupuncture. The other herbal products have worked well, but I think it's good to go for a change. I've known I've had
Ascaris in the biliary/liver, I've literally felt the darned things in the bile duct. They are not easy to eliminate either. I've seen plenty in the toilet, but I know they are still there. I'm sure it would be a plus to get away from the herbals I've been on and use the different ones used in TCM.

One randomized, controlled study of 92 individuals infected with the roundworm
Ascaris lumbricoides demonstrated that people treated with acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese herbs had significantly greater improvement in symptoms compared with people who were treated with conventional medication.
