I'll take a stab at answering this! Many people who have candida develop allergies to molds and yeasts. ACV, a vinegar, is both yeasty AND moldy and will cause symptoms upon ingestion to those allergic or sensitive to yeasts and molds, which is why it is not particularly recommended as an antifungal. So - if you are trying to whack back candida possibly picking another acid, such as caprylic, undecylenic, etc. would be a better option if you have sensitivities/allergies to yeasts and molds. I am one of those who cannot tolerate vinegar products whatsoever. Ingestion of same will send me into itch/hive-land.
