I got some citric acid powder from the local supermarket.
It costs next to nothing.

I then took one of those tiny 'schnaps' glasses, filled it to the top with citric acid powder and poured it into a clean, larger glass. Then I took that same 'schnaps' glass again and filled it 9 times with destilled water, and poured it all into the glass with the citric acid . Stirred in it for a few minutes and then I put, what could fit, into a dropper thingie and threw the rest out.
I keep it in the fridge next to my Miracle-Mineral-Supplement bottle that is wrapped in aluminum foil.

Appears to work well. The actived Miracle-Mineral-Supplement gets that 'plutonium' colour after 3 minutes.
Though, I worry slightly about the smell. It doesn't seem to smell all that strongly.
From what I've read from others, mine seems very weak in comparison.
I've heard stories about people virtually fleeing the kitchen when it starts to activate.
