Re: Recurring strep throat and chronic sinus problems gone!
I used the clay too, to help remove toxins (dead candida).
Well, that's a shame that your ND couldn't help you. I hate to hear stories like this, because it makes people give up and self-treat and then they fight candida forever. When I had candida I tried self-treating and was only able to reduce the candida. I became really frustrated and unhappy and literally spent hours searching the internet trying to find someone that really knew what they were doing with candida because I found that most know nothing or only a little and worst of all, many don't admit it. I finally read Dr. Biamonte's website and realized I finally found someone that knew what he was talking about:
http://www.health-truth.com
He cured my hard to get rid of strain of systemic candida, and a very sick me, in a few months. He knows exactly what to do and has been doing it for many years and curing people.
For a while I was telling people all about this because I felt sorry for how many people were stuck trying to cure candida without being able to, and I knew how miserable it was, but I found I appeared as just another voice, blah-blah-blah talking about candida, or people didn't want to follow a strict protocol, or worst of all, didn't have the money to pay someone, which is the most unfortunate thing (though sometimes they just would rather spend their money on something else, but what is more important?). I don't get anything from Dr. Biamonte for trying to send people to him, I just simply wanted to help people. All I can say is, I was completely cured in 2001. It's not like 6 of 1, half-dozen of the other when it comes to NDs and candida. Only a few really know how to treat candida.
I really hope you can call him--you can do the consultations by phone as I did. He will find what fungus you have and treat it, then test to make sure it's gone.
I can't stress enough how important getting a test to make sure the fungus is gone, is. So many people stop because they feel better and this just gives the fungus a chance to grow until it's in large enough numbers for you to feel sick again. If we could only see and feel what's going on in our intestines... So many people stop when they feel better and this is another downfall of self-treating.
The other thing is, besides following the protocol carefully, you have to be able to stick to the diet. This is difficult because of the cravings you'll get but you won't get better if you don't. I could stick to it because by that time I would have done anything to get rid of the candida. The cravings were unreal, I even dreamed about
Sugar and flour products. It was like war--me against candida and it wasn't going to win! The few months of treatment are not fun but what is better--a few tough months or years of ineffectively attacking it with this or that.
