Prednisone

What #59681 said is partially true. Sometimes after a person finishes tapering off with the prednisone, they will find that their UC is completely gone. This was the case with me the first time I went on Prednisone.

However, I would say he's right to say the disease is in remission. It could come back at any time. My UC didn't come out of remission until about a year and a half later.
